It won't start until you remedy the water in fuel problem. Your owner's manual should tell you the procedure. GM and Ford have a shut-down system in place when water reaches a certain level. Hope this helps.

I have a 02 plate ford focus 1.8 turbo diesel which starts 97 percent of the time but the odd 3 percent it takes a few mins to start it any clues?

Water in fuel or fuel filter in diesels will do that. Try replacing the fuel filter and some dryer in your fuel. Water in diesel is a common problem, I drove a semi for 9 years and had to change filters a bunch.

Where is fuel filter location on 2001 bluebird shuttle bus with 5.9l 24v cummins?

the diesel fuel filter should be located on the firewall and should be a spin on/off filter like an oil filter and must be filled with diesel fuel before installation. if you go buy the new one first it will help you locate it on your bus

How to bleed a diesel bus engine

there will be a small hand pump either on the diesel pump or on the filter. bleed the filter out first and then open the bleed screws on the pump and pump until you get straight fuel., The pump may requiring unscrewing the handle/knob first so that you can move it up and down to pump. When finished remember to re screw it back down. crack the injector lines and turn engine over until you get drips of fuel from the nuts. continue to turn over the engine while tightening the nuts and it should start before you have finished with the nuts.

My 2000 jeep grand cherokee larado stalled at a red light yesterday just like some one just turn off a switch now gages arnt working right it wont start cranks strong but no spark no fuel presure fuel...

Fuel pump is good, but no fuel pressure? How did you determine that the pump is good?
The ff
Failing gages point towards a problem with the PCI data bus or the PCM itself. This takes quite some troubleshooting to find the cause.
There are many components connected to the PCI bus and any of them could bring the bus down. You can measure the voltage on pin 2 of the data connector on the left side of the drivers footwell area. A good bus voltage is around 2.5 V. There is a PCI bus disconnect plug under the steering tube. By removing the shorting cap, you will disconnect almost all components from the bus. PCM and SKIM will still be connected and you could try to run the engine. You will ot have instruments nor most of the other systems, but this is only to see if the PCM works ok. If it runs, then you will have to look which component or bus wire gives the problem.

Fuel in engine base oil

I'm not much on diesels, but for gas engines the most common source is a leaking injector or fuel pressure regulator.

I have a 2005 Ford F350 diesel with 6.0 powerstroke I have been having problems with a misfire I believe it is fuel injectors. Due to water in the fuel system. i started using diesel clean fuel injector...

Diesel clean will help, but it won't remove all the water in your fuel. Try some water dispersant fuel treatment as well.

I'm guessing your water in fuel light came on? It this happened for any length of time, your fuel water seperator sensor could of shorted out, this will cause a misfire, and will have to be replaced. There are several other things with the 6.0 that could be the problem, but i would start with this first. The back pressure control valve sticking and the pressure sensor out of calibration are also common problems on this engine.

Good luck, i hope this helps.

Strong Diesel Smell inside HJ Turbo Diesel Landcruiser

Since you didnt notice any change in the performance of your engine, ill presume there's nothing wrong with your fuel injectors.
look for moisture around your gas tank cap, the hose and clamps going down the tank, around the fuel gauge sending unit of your tank. have your fuel line checked from the tank to your fuel injection pump, give particular importance around the connections of your fuel filter, fuel pump, and the return hose from your fuel injection going back to your tank.
Diesel do emit strong hazardous odors that may stick on carpets inside your car.
