Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE
Check your battery cables for looseness or corosion. Tighten battery post especially the ground or clean posts with wire brush. When you put the car in gear the electrical circuit disconnects from the battery post. If you still have a problem please feel free to contact me. Also have the battery checked if it is three years old or more with a hydrometer or battery charger.
