Need to know what 3 lines from fuel tank go

The pump line, or feed line, goes to the fuel filter and then to the engine's fuel rail. A return line leaves the fuel rail and sends gas back to the tank. Usually, the feed line is slightly larger than the return line, not always.
The third line is a vent line for emission controls-routing gas fumes from the tank to the charcoal canister, where it is stored and later sent to the engine to be burned.

Where is the fuel filter?

Between the fuel tank and the engine!

Where are the fuel feed and fuel return for the injection system located?

They both run together from the tank up to the engine. They are both connected into the fuel rail on top of the engine. Sometimes the feed line is slightly bigger than the return line, or the feed line will be the one with the fuel filter in it.

How do i drop the fuel tank to replace my fuel pump on my 2006 chevy trailblazer LS. There are 3 lines that I don't know what they are used for after you drop the tank 4 or 5 inches.

their are two fuel line at the front of the tank one is the fuel feed and the other is the return line! Now the ones at the back of the tank are for emission you don't want to break or damage those make sure you disconnect all of those line and the is a red connector also at the rear of the top of the tank make sure you disconnect that. And just make sure careful when remove fuel pump it has a tight fit coming out also when your done make sure all your hoses and lines are reconnected and the red ont too! GOOD LUCK !

My gas tank leaks. How do I go about replacing it? It seems to have three fuel lines to the tank. One is a small diameter line and the other two are larger, I am assuming one of these might be a return...

if you take and clamp off the hoses and remove them from the tank, then support the fuel tank, remove the fuel tank holding straps then lower the tank, disconnect the wiring and make sure there is nothing else connected to the fuel tank, remove fuel tank transfer any components to the new tank and re-install.

Cant find where the fuel line connects to the engine

If you find your fuel rails there should 2 lines. One is attached to the pulsation damper and feeds into the fuel rail which is usually in the front and on the top of the engine. The fuel then exits through the fuel rail, out the pressure relief valve and back to the tank. Most of your fuel lines are marked feed and return on the fuel hoses. If this doesn't work for you you can raise and support the front end .If you look on the frame on the driver side you should see the fuel lines that run from your fuel tank to your fuel rail or TBI (Throttle Body Injectors).Hope this helps you find it.

Can you give me instructions on how to change a 1987 sedan deville fuel pump?

In-Tank Fuel Pumps
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, open the fuel tank filler door and disconnect the sending unit feed wire. Release the fuel pressure.
  2. Siphon the fuel from the fuel tank. If the rear of the car is raised one foot higher than the front, more fuel can be taken out.
  3. Raise the rear of the car and remove the screw securing the ground wire to the cross member.
  4. Disconnect the fuel line, evaporative emission lines and the fuel return lines at the front of the tank.
  5. Support the tank with a jack and wooden block and remove one screw on each side securing the fuel tank support straps to the body at the front of the tank.
  6. Lower the jack and tank enough so that the fuel pump electrical lead can be disconnected. Disconnect the wire.
  7. Remove the fuel tank from the car.
  8. Remove the locknuts securing the fuel gauge tank unit and fuel pump feed wires to the tank unit.
  9. Turn the cam locking ring counterclockwise with a soft non-ferrous punch and hammer. When the lock ring is disengaged, remove it and lift the gauge/pump unit from the tank.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the fuel tank retaining strap screws to 25 ft. lbs. (34 Nm).

What is the part that the fuel line runs to from the two lines that split from the gas tank? its like a circle peice that two lines run to

If you are looking at the gas tank, you are viewing a cricle with two lines athat come out. ONe line feeds your fuel from your fuel pump to the engine, while the other line is the return line bringing unused fuel back to your tank.
