Check for collapsing radiator hose on suction side of waterpump when motor revs raised above idle.
Check collant resevoir pressure cap is serviceable,
Check coolant system is properly filled - carry out any bleed off procedure specified to clear any air locks- (ensure heater core coolant flow is turned on).
Check condition of radiator core:-
1) for blockage of air flow to (bugs/grass etc),
2) and for core internal blockage to coolant flow,

Replace the thermostat, if all above ok.

Is this a Lincoln LS? Some have contaminated the hydraulic fluid by adding coolant to it mistakenly.
The hydraulic fan is controlled by a solenoid /actuator and the computer runs it. here's a link you can do some reading and searching on:

After changing alternator in 95 cadillac deville the heat doesnt blow at all

The alternator does not have anything to do with the blower fan for heat. You may have unhooked a wire by mistake, or you have a blown fuse. God-Bless!

What can look for

Power draw causes heat generation. As the alternator is loaded down by current drawn from it, the windings heat up. This is normal, and this is why alternators have fan impellers on them. If you have lots of equipment running, the power draw may exceed the alternator capacity. Modern alternators have overcurrent protection built into them, but this doesn't mean you can't burn them up. Excessive sustained power draw will overheat the alternator and it will eventually fail. The best thing to do is either lessen the load or upgrade the lternator.

2003 Kia Rio new fan belts squeal when lights, heat, or radio are turned on, especially when car is cold. caused a fuse to blow last winter

Hey Anon, Are you SURE you got the correct belt?? Something does not sound right about this...???... Double check all the pulleys when the belts are off...the alternator should spin freely, all the the idler pulleys should spin free..(ones that just spin and guide but are NOT connected to anything)!! This very thing happened to me...it was a $12 idler pulley that did nothing but spun and guided the belt..

My blower for the heat worked fine i took it to a shop to get the alternator replaced an when they were done i had no blower for the heat what can be the problem

Hmm ... Open your user manual, and look for a relay and a fuse on the fuse panel for the blower. Check the fuse, and if you have an extra, replace the relay. If that's not it, you might have to run through the wires to the fan.

You may have a Bad alternator or wire connected to the alternator. Before replacing alternator check battery terminal and all batter cables especially the ground wires. Good Luck

Battery and Brake light on, fans stop

Engine was running too hot, thermostat s/b 180, it was 195, antifreeze solution had too much water, this caused the radiator thermal switch to trip. I think the alternator was either bad, or the excessive heat made it draw too much. Two separate problems.
