You have a bad ground connection feeding the panel. Check the 'bonding ground' under the hood on the 'firewall'. There should be a wire or braided conductor that bonds the firewall to the chassis ground at the engine.

Sounds like you have a bad ground or a short in the guage cluster. Check all of your grounds first and if not results I would pull the guage cluster and start checking guages for shorts in the wiring.

It could very well be a ground casing the intermittant workings as all the guages function separate from each other via sending units and if the whole cluster is going on/off all at once I woul defintely think a bad/corroded ground

16 amps is too high, you have a bad voltage regulator and should never exceed 14.4-15 volts. ANything over that wil fry some of your sensitive electronics and most certainly kill your battery by overcharging (could possibly explode if charge gets too high).. that's why you guages work in idle versus when driving the engine revs higher and the alternator puts out more volts. Had the exact same issue with my Honda and was getting as high as 18 volts and it fried some wiring and the speedo never worked till I replaced it... You wanna get it out asap and put in one that works otherwise the voltage will steadily climp.

If this a dual battery system..... load check both batteries,as one battery will try to equalize from the other battery and if one is low it will kill the good batt and if voltage gets below 8.0 appx. it will kill the computer, i know it may start hard, but most batteries retain a "surface-charge" and come back quickly

you can pull the alternator apart and do a rront to back resistance check, but to save time take it to auto-zone and they can load test it there, much more accurate than just a diode check

I want to know how to calculate kilometers into liters of diesel

Fill up the tank. Record the current odometer reading,Drive until the fuel gauge shows about half a tank. Fill up the tank and note how many liters went in. Subtract the recorded odometer reading from the current odometer reading. Divide by how much fuel you just put in. The result is km/l.

The BUS is not part of the PCM/ECM it is on the body control module (BCM). It effects radio and dash most noticeably. Has no effect on powertrain.

After disconnect and reconnect the battery of my opel antara, the indication of odometer displays only 888... for all indications. How can i reset it?

This solution will be of great help to you,even in the case of future or other dashboard problems;
Instrument cluster consists of electronic analog gauges, various warning lights, and optional tachometer. Vehicles equipped with tachometer have an electronic vacuum fluorescent transmission range indicator (PRND3L),odometer and trip odometer display. Vehicles without tachometer are equipped with a cable-operated transmission range indicator.
Instrument cluster is equipped with the following warning lights:
Battery voltage.
Cruise (speed control).
Door ajar.
Fasten seat belt.
Lift gate ajar.
Low fuel level.
Low windshield and washer level.
Traction Control.
The Body Control Module (BCM), which receives input from various sensors, sends display information to instrument cluster and operates gauges. Instrument cluster incorporates a self-test diagnostic feature to identify electronic problems. BCM, Powertrain Control Module (PCM), and Transmission Control Module (TCM) are continuously monitored by the diagnostic system.

SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
With ignition off, press and hold TRIP and RESET buttons while turning ignition switch to ON position. Continue to hold TRIP and RESET buttons until odometer window displays CODE (approximately 5 seconds). If problem exists, system will display diagnostic trouble codes. See DIAGNOSTIC CODE CHART table. If no problem exists, Code 999 (end test) will be displayed.
DIAGNOSTIC CODE CHART
CodeDescription
110.......Cluster Memory Fault
111.......Cluster Calibration Fault
905.......No CCD Bus Message From TCM
921.......Odometer Fault From BCM
940.......No CCD Bus Message From PCM

After diagnostic code display ends, instrument cluster will go into each of the following tests in order:
Dim test.
Calibration test.
Odometer segment test.
Electronic Transmission Range indicator segment test.
Dim Test
CHEC-0 will be displayed in odometer window. Instrument cluster will dim Vacuum Florescent (VF) display. If VF displays do not dim, a problem in instrument cluster exists. See BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article.
Calibration Test
CHEC-1 will be displayed in odometer window. Each of instrument cluster gauges will move sequentially through each calibration point. See GAUGE CALIBRATIONS table. If gauge needle is not calibrated properly, a problem in instrument cluster exists.

Odometer Segment Test
CHEC-2 will be displayed in odometer window. Each segment of odometer will light sequentially. If any segment does not light, replace instrument cluster.
Electronic Transmission Range Indicator Segment Test
CHEC-3 will be displayed in odometer window. Each segment of electronic transmission range indicator will light sequentially. If any segment does not light, replace instrument cluster.

Odometer does not work.

Could be the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). You should also notice a check engine light or (if automatic) a D or S light on your gauges for the gear selector.

Not too hard to replace, it's on top of the transmission near the back.
