Comment form the FixYa Moderator Staff:

Yes, it can very well be AC condensate. If the condensate drain tube is clogged, the condensate will back up, and drain onto your carpet. The thing you need to do is pull back the carpet, and locate the tube from the AC box, then remove it and clean the clog. Note if you remove the tube, trapped water will drain onto the floor.

Sounds like it check the a/c fluid drain for any restriction, or leaks

Most likely condensation, look under the car, under the firewall.Look directly under where the ac lines go into the fire wall, you will find the drain.Take a small diameter wire, and push it in ,and out untill the drain unstops,it will pour out like a water faal,so be perpaired to get very wet.If this does not work, use compressed air to blow in the drain.I hope this was helpful, please let us know, than you.

Driver side floor board wet

It depends, is it antifreeze or clear water? It could be condensation from the ac. Sometimes you can get under the vehicle and use a probe in the drain. It would probably be the best to clean out from inside, if that is the problem?

Front right floor always wet

Ac condensation could be building up and dripping in cab.If so under car on passenger side were floor board meets firewall should be a small hose or maybe even just a hole where water to drip. First i use like a coat hanger to clean out.

Water on passenger side floor

This could be a sign the heater core or hose has gone bad and is leaking into the cabin since it is located inside the dash ifs its antifreeze it will have a sweet smell.
It could also be your AC condenser, or possible window seal.

A clogged drip line would be my first suspicion.

Anytime warmer air passes over something cold, there will be condensation. It has to go somewhere, either under the vehicle, or onto the floor.

The fact that you are getting water there indicates that the evaporator is doing its job.

The passenger side floor of my 93 accord is wet. It is not antifreeze and I don't use the air conditioning.

look under the car there are plugs located in the floor look to see if the plug has rotted , the ac condenser still condenses water even if it is not turned on check to see if the drain on the fire wall(located on the fire wall passenger side towards the bottom)is plugged with mud or debris, if it is not plugged the heater/ac unit shell may be cracked allowing water to seep, also check around the front window for leaks.

2004 Chevrolet Tahoe-front passenger side floor is wet

Check the heater core unit located underneath the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. Even though your car's antifreeze is red, it may appear to be clear when there is only a small amount present. Was the liquid in the vehicle sticky and have any smell to it?

Passenger side floor wet dripping from a/c unit

if its water leaking then your condensation drain is probably plugged, it should be on the firewall lower passenger side. if its antifreeze its probably a leaking heater core.
