Question about 1990 Nissan Pulsar

2 Answers

Nissan Pulsar 1992 is overheating when I travel at 100 kmh and air con is on. It seems to running fine at lower speeds. When we turned air con off the temp did still rise but at a slower rate. Took it to Mechanic who could not see anything wrong. Any ideas?

Check for collapsing radiator hose on suction side of waterpump when motor revs raised above idle.
Check collant resevoir pressure cap is serviceable,
Check coolant system is properly filled - carry out any bleed off procedure specified to clear any air locks.
Check condition of radiator core:-
1) for blockage of air flow to (bugs/grass etc),
2) and internal blockage to coolant flow,

Replace the thermostat, if all above ok.

Nissan pulsar n16 air con not working half a day randomly every few days. Air con works fine with cold air, then when I come to drive the car again either 1 hour or 6hours later it sometimes does not turn...

I had this same problem. I removed the aircon controller from the dash and found two dry solder joints on the back of the main circuit board. I resoldered these and it fixed the problem.

2000 Nissan Maxima Overheating

Hi. Your radiator fan motor may be seized. Should ingage between 95-100 degrees when you parked on idle after achieving full working temp. If it doesn't, check fuse first and than relay responsible for cooling fan( you can find cavity in your owner manual. Let me know. The reason you car is ok while driving is the air going thru your radiator. When you stoped or parked for longer time with no speed there is nothing to cool your radiator. Fix it asap or eventually will cause engine over hit and seize.

Problem with vibration feel it when driving

any way you feel vibrations travel in whicth speed?
if it is up then 90-100 kmh get your tires balanced ,(they put a piece of metal in them to not vibrate in high speed) if you have done this, see how is your alignment tires. if this have done see your arm steering , you have them problematic(losting fluid inside, or if you have hited something hard with your tires.
