The car makes a loud noise as if you are going

The car makes a loud noise as if you are going very fast, but you are only driving 10 miles. The meter next to mph clock is going up to 2 and 3 and you are only going 20 miles per hour.

A new solenoid body in the trans will fix it. Common ford problem 13 years running.

by meter if you mean your tachometer that is your transmission and it sounds as if your transmission is slipping and your engine is working fine but you need it serviced
