Where is my iol filter located on a 94 chevy astro van ?

Are you referring to the oil filter? It is located under the engine on the drivers side just in front of the flywheel cover on the transmission. The drain plug is a 15mm bolt.

How do i drain the radiator on 1997 rodeo i don't see the drain plug

If this is a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo with a 3.2L engine, this is where the drain plug is. You will have 2 transmission coolant lines attached to the bottom of your radiator. The drain plug is approximately 2-3 inches from the coolant line that is closest to the drivers side of the car. Real hard to see. It may be partially covered by the rubber padding that the radiator sits on, but it is right there by the transmission coolant line that is closest to the drivers side.

Where is the radiator drain plug?

Not all vehicles have them any more but if present, it will be on the bottom tank of the radiator itself. It costs a buck or two to provide them so they are happy to let you rip the bottom hose off to drain coolant. BTW, use something to collect the draining coolant; if the typical glycol, it is sweet and animals will lap it up prematurely ending their lives. Many service shops will accept old coolant for disposal.

How do you replace a thermostat on 97 astro

Hi:
Your thermostat is located under the thermostat housing, which is located where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. First you must drain the coolant out of your radiator, then disconnect the hose from the engine. Remove the bolts from the thermostat housing, and gently tap the housing to break it free. Remove the housing and the thermostat. Carefully clean the flat surfaces on the housing and the engine, before reassembly. You will need a new gasket too. Fill the engine up with the proper coolant mixture, then start the car and check for leaks!

1997 chevy astro van has poor starting problems after it sits all

hello ralph...check the coolant temp sensor. It acts as a choke to richen fuel mixture when cold. If it doesn't work correctly, hard starting will occur. Once engine reaches operating temp, the problem is usually non-existent. also....
Worn spark plugs.
Fouled spark plugs.
Worn distributor cap and rotor.
Old ignition wires.
Low engine coolant level.
Faulty MAP sensor...any of these will effect cold starting....

Good luck...i hope this helps.
