I am unfamiliar with Mitsubishi products but on Ford Diesels the "O" rings can leak and you lose the vacuum draw.
You can try 3 ways. Use suction on the line going to the fuel rails. Prime the fuel filter and reattach. Or use suction to get the feed line from the tank to fill the fuel filter.

If you can get the engine to start with priming the filter there should be enough momentum to draw the fuel from the tank.

Check your manual for Bleeding the system. Sounds like you have air in the fuel lines. Look in your manual also at Changing your fuel filter. It will
explain the right way to get the air out. Did the manual say where the cut out switch was??? That would be the switch that shuts the fuel off to stop the engine.

My husband has an F-350 deisel standard, turbo. The brakes are not working. THere is brakes but no peddal. It comes up but after a couple minutes its gone. Got new brakes, master cyclendar.

it sounds like it to me there is air in the brake line and you may have to have the brake pressure bleed to get the air out call a shop close to you and take it safe unless you do have towing wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

Need to bleed ssangyong muzzo 2.9 deisel

The fuel filter may have a bleed screw, undo the bleed screw slightly and crank the engine over until fuel spurts out ,if it does then retighten screw. If that doesn't work then the next Best way is to crack open the nuts on the injectors and get someone to crank the engine over , as fuel starts to come out of the joint retighten them up. This should get most of the air out, any remaining will quickly clear after the engine runs for a while.

Ford focus 1.8 turbo deisel 1999.

do not understand you what you mean. assuming your car was ok before you changed f/filter you need to bleed the fuel system of air. esiest to do would be to loosen fuel line at the injectors and have assistant crank the engine while you observe for clear fuel leak without any air bubbles from fuel line.tighten fuel lines and start engine. might have to repeat a few times. good luck.
