Question about 1988 Toyota Corolla 4 Door
I have a brand new 2010 Corolla, and have noticed that when I remove the key from the iginition the key is VERY hot to the touch. Just wondering if anyone else has a similar issue.
I purchased a 2010 Corolla in Jul\t 2009. For two months, several times, the key was hot when I removed it from the ignition. I was told it was due to the Immobilizer chip in the handle. I'm concerned as it happened again in Sept 2010. and if it does this periodically I feel in time it could cause a dangerous problem as cars have caught fire due to ignition problems. What response did you get from your dealer or how did you sove your problem??
