A "U.S.A. mind" is NOT needed. A good attitude is needed. An ability to "research a problem" is needed. A love of your automobile is needed...

You are going to be fine.

Where is the A/C low pressure port located on a 2005 Buick lesabre custom

They hide them so regular people can't find them , they figure you don't need to know ! Technician's that work at dealers an independent repair shops have to be certified to fix A/C systems , can't release refrigerant into the atmosphere or some hefty fines will be implemented . $100.000 .

Wen the truck is at idle there is no problem but on the road it begins jumping

It could be many things ... including your fuel pump. Or it could be a faulty sensor.

Give a mobile mechanic a call and ask him to run a diagnostic check for you. Those mobile mechanics are usually very good

My vw polo classic 1.6 2001 model petrol don't want to start,no spark and cuts off itself while driving changed distributor, cap, rotor, coil, fuel filter but still same problem .What could be the cause?

You don't say whether you have physically checked the spark when it is not starting or it has cut itself off. This is probably the easiest check to do and it could provide the answer.

Two possibilities spring to mind that caused problems in the dim and distant past though it could be something else entirely and only good systematic checking will isolate the fault.

I seem to remember the fuel pump relay, which contained electronics, sometimes played hide and seek for some time before they failed altogether.

Not sure if your car uses a hall effect generator for crank or cam position/trigger information but these too can play hide and seek.

Bought 3 months ago, 110,000 k assured by the dealership that the vehicle was certified but now the fuel tank has rusted through (major leaking noticed one evening). Needs a whole new fuel tank. Wouldn't...

Rusty gas tanks do not come under the certified safety check issues as far as safety check is concerned but if these cars had issues before then I would certainly check it out. As far as recalls are concerned. Did you get a warranty when you purchased the vehicle? As far as catching a rusty tank they are very hard to spot as you have the straps and the top of the tank is against the floor boards. Wishing you the best of luck.

ESP / ARS fault with Peugeot 207

Nobody can give best, a Guesstimate...but they will need to do some testing, Diagnosis...they charge by the hour, are good at what they do, and if they are real good, will be ASE Certified Mechanics...ask around, for good references...I don't know where you live, but in North Portland, (Oregon), there is a small shop on Interstate Ave., that works on them...good luck...

Fuel gage doesnt work

  1. Fuse
  2. Bad Guage
  3. Malfunctioning senser in tank
Keep in mind if it is Item 3. then you will soon need to replace the the fuel pump in the tank and if that is the case I advise you to get a certified mechanic to do the job as it is a heavy and dangerous job.
