Question about 1996 Chevrolet C1500
I replaced the brake booster and reinstalled the brake light switch. I do not understand how it could possibly actuate the switch since it floats on the booster rod. The switch works when manually pushed
The parts store had given me a booster for an 88-94 model. The the brake booster rod end clevis would not actuate the switch. After installing the correct part number component it works like a champ.
