For a short term fix unplug the ABS relay. Your ABS light will stay on, and you won't have Anti lock breaks but you will be able to start your car which is always nice.
If you actually want ABS they try replacing the ABS relay, this will probably do the trick

I have a 95 infiniti j30 and it wont start...battery,cables,terminal..starter/ignition all runs perfect...except 4 1 problem...itll sumtimes not crank..everything just wont...

Hello! intermittent faults are difficult to locate but I'll narrow it down to three possibilities: #1 bad ignition Switch...#2 Bad Starter relay...And #3 bad Shift Range Selector Switch...Lets eliminate...Next time it happens shift into Neutral and see if it starts...If that doesn't make a difference...Switch the Starter Relay with the Defogger relay (they are the same relay) and see if the problem of starting is solved...Location of starter relay...It's located in the fuse box, directly in front of the passenger side strut tower next to the Battery.. You'll see a row of relays that are the same size. (four across). It is the second relay from the left...And Blue in color...Just to its left is the Defogger relay (Blue)...If none of the above move or solve the fault I suggest replacing the ignition switch...See photo below...Guru...saailer

Battery dead, went to jumpstart and now the starter still engages even after key is out of igition continues to do so until jumper cables are removed from j30 battery

hmm you have an alarm system , immobilizer or other security feature ?? I'm betting that you do,, The way these things work is that it taps into the starter system and other systems and functions like a relay so if its isnt ingaged the car wont start,, now your problem is that you jumped the vehicle and I'm sure you connected both leads to the battery ,, when you were supposed to connect the POS to the battery and the negative to the cars body or engine.. Now what you did was send too much power to the security system causing damage to the security device.. Have it replaced or removed that will solve your problem..

I replaced the battery in my car and my stereo quit working. I have a 1993 Infiniti J30

You will have to phone an infinity dealership and get the radio code unless it happens to be in the owner manual.

It wont turn over it not the battery nor the starter 1997 j30 . i turn it off and now it wont say nothing

There is a relay box in the left front fender area.A real pain to get to.I worked on Infinitis back in the day and remember replacing several of those on that model .They can be reached under the hood without removal of the fender but just barely. It is fairly sizeable black relay box in just about the upper center of the left (driver side ) front fender and it is a dig to retrieve out.

Need to know where my relay is on my 1993 j30 infiniti

I had the same problem, as have many others. It turned out to be the relay switch, as it has for many others. It way does, below the engine on the wall below the engine and the driver.

Exchanging infiniti j30 parts

I've only had experience with struts, running lights, trunk gaskets and various under-hood brackets; so far everything has been interchangeable. It may not look EXACTLY the same, but it fits. Hope it helps!
