have a pressure test done so that you can see where it is leaking from.. If it is in the side of the block it may be a rusted welsh plug. Check inside the car for a leaking heater core and hoses . Check the drain hole under the water pump as it may be leaking from that hole while the pump is running ( water pump seal)

WATER LEAKING INSIDE ON PASSENGER SIDE WHEN AC IS ON

The condensate drain hole or pipe must be blocked. This drains the water to outside the car.

1997 Olds ** watr leaking into floorboard. By searching all over google- i found a few situations where this car has a "wheel well" problem of throwing water from tire up into wheel well which...

No, you would need to replace the well but it sounds like this is not the problem, most of these that rott are visible with a light shining from outside in with trunk carpet removed from the sides, i think your problem may be in the front area. try sparing with a water hose, no pressure hose, spray around windsheild and see if it leaks inside, another thing to check is the heater box drain, theres a small hole coming through firewall that comes from the heater box , this drains water from ac and wtare that gets into box and drains it outside, check that to make sure its not plugged. if you notice the water after it rains then its not the heater box but check it anyway.

Water in floor board and I think the drain back hose is stopped up. Thought the windshield was leaking but the insulation was wet right under were the heater hoses go threw the firewall. I poured water on...

While what you are describing certainly could happen, it seems unlikely you'd have water coming from a blocked a/c condensate drain at this time of the year. The a/c will produce condensation when cooling the flowing air to give a comfortable summer time ride. This condensation is drained to the outside (underneath) of the car by the hose you are describing. Unless you live in a particularly hot climate, I don't think this is your problem given the time of the year

I'm thinking it's a better likelihood you've got a leaking heater core. If your turn the defroster on, do you get a whiff of something that smells sweet? (Kinda like pancake syrup). A leaking heater core can funnel this kind of odor up thru the defroster ducts and into your face.

Left front inside car is full of water under the floor mats, can it be from the air con and how to resolve the problem

LOOK UNDER NEATH VECHICLE ON LOWER BACK FIREWALL WHERE HEATER CORE HOSES RUN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE LOOK FOR SMALL EVAPORATOR DRAIN HOLE. TAKE A SHOP VAC AND SMALL VACUUM LINE HOSE ABOUT 3/8 SIZE VACUUM IN THE DRAIN HOLE THAT WILL REMOVE DEBRIS THAT BLOCKING OFF DRAIN HOLE WHICH KEEP EVAPORATOR WATER LEAKING INSIDE CAR.

Rain water leaking from under glove box, heater area, is not antifreeqe, iam sure it is rain water

The evaporator drain might be clogged. Get under the truck or open the hood and look for a rubber nipple coming out of the firewall on the passengers side. Try sticking something in this hole to release whatever might be stuck in there, usually leaves or sediment. Be careful, don't go crazy pocking something in there. The evaporator core might be near the drain hole, you don't want to poke a hole in it.

Water leak right next to inlet hoses for heater core . could there be a drain hole there

Yes, they typicaly about the same size as a pen. Make sure that it is just water comming out, and not coolant. If water, this is normall from condinsation, if coolant, you will need to change the heater core.

We get a considerable amount of water on the front

The vehicle has drain holes or tubes that allow the condensation on the evaporator coil to drain. If these are blocked by debris then the water will raise to a level capable of leaking into the vehicle.

You can run your garden hose onto your windshield and see if it drains from both fenders (close to the doors). If the water isn't pooling under the wiper-blades then it is probably a clogged drain inside the blower box or air inside your heater-core (could be caused by a leak and-or low coolant.
