Check the trunk,usually theres plastic wing nuts that hold on factory carpet....under there should be your answer.....just dig a lil bit.

Go into the trunk. Pull the carpet back from the area where the light you need to replace is. You will see the screws to remove the whole light assembly.

Buick 1998 Century My left rear brake light does not work when brakes are applied. All other brake lights work. I tested the circuit with a meter and when the brakes are pressed the circuit shows 13-14...

Contacts inside where the bulb attains its energy from need to be inspected. Burnt contacts are very common on these vehicles ie: the power that is present does not have a complete circuit path to make it through the load (bulb)

you have a ground fault somewhere, try cleaning all the ground leads look for corrosion and rust.
