Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition with a hood that won't stay up. What part(s) is required to fix this? Can I do it myself? Cost if I go to a mechanic?
Probably have bad hood struts/shocks that hold it up. These can be obtained at the usual discount parts stores(Kragen,Autozone, Checker, etc) Usually just pop off on one end of a ball mount and unbolt the other after you have propped up hood. These shocks go bad from time or fluid leaks.
