Its probably on the back of the inside fuse panel on the driver side. usually looks like a metal cylinder or a black plastic square box. all it is is a relay. should be easy to find.

the only way that diesel can get into sump oil is through a failed seal in the pump on the drive shaft
No easy fix so a trip to an accredited diesel service centre will be in order.
it looks like the fuel return to the tank and leave air in the system,pintch the return hose so the fuel won't return by itself. the fuel regulator could be defect.
I am assuming you have a manual transmission. First I would check to see if it came with the dual flywheel. If it did then this is the problem. If it didn't then the pressure plate is weak or the clutch is worn out. If it is an automatic, there are several things that would cause this. Torque converter. solenoids, clutch bands, clutch .....
safety[ limp] mode truck wont go over 2000 rmp but it will get u safely off road or to a service station or home ur getting some kind of code thats effecting ur truck --use a different reader urs might not be able to retrieve the problem code but can reset the computer-some auto stores such as auto zone / advanced auto scan for free check shops in ur local area
a hot coolant system will have preshure so that need to be relived, but is you dont mind burns it is ok to do hot, and ther is no problem doing this in cold weather.
There is a known problem in the intermediate shaft on these trucks.If you look under the hood on the right side of engine compartment,you will see the intermediate shaft connects to steering column and runs to the steering gear.
