Trannie, no drive no od,no 2 will go in r low 1

i RESTORED ONE OF THESE FULLY. HAVE FULL DOCS.
MINE WAS 5SP M/T BOX 4WD, 2DOOR. MADE IN CANADA CAMI PLANT./ IN CORVETTE RED GM PAINT.

WHAT YOU FAILED TO SAY IS THIS THE
3SPEED HYRAMAITC OLD THM180 BOX.
OR 4SPEEDS, TCM SHIFTED AUTOMATIC BOX 1995+
THE 4SPEED HAS A od BUTTON, AND THE OD LAMP FLASHES IF TCM IS NOT HAPPY, (DTC )
MY GUESS IS 1991, 1.6LITER, 8VALVE ENGINE 3SP.
WITH SUPER OLD (1970 DESIGN) 3SPEED, AUTOMATIC,
THE 3 SPEED DOES NOT SHIFT BY ELECTRICS OR HAVE ANY TCM BRAIN. AT ALL.
YES TCC LOCKER IS ELECTRIC BY ECU./ 1 WIRE

THE BOX IS BAD, IMO
BUT FLUIDS AFT ARE NOT LOW?
FILTER IN PAN NOT PACKED.
VACUUM MODULATOR REAR TRANNY NOT BAD.
OR HOSE TO IT FELL OFF, (VACCUM)
TV CABLE NOT RUSTED INSIDE AND STUCK FULLY OUT DELAYING SHIFTS VASTLY
TV ./PASSING GEAR/DETENT CABLE TO BOX.

SHIFTING TO NEUTRAL IS CALLED FLARE.
TRANSMISSION SHIFT SHIFTS IN DRIVE
FROM 1, TO FLARE
2 TO FLARE (AKA. FALSE NEUTRALS)
OR 3 TO FLARE, IS A BAD BOX,. IN ALL CASES.
3SP. CALLED 3L30 WITH 4WD REAR ADAPTER.
TOP CAUSES
1: PUMP WEAK
2: LEAKS. (INSIDE SEALS ALL LEAK AS ALL DO THIS OLD THEY ALL ADD UP)
3: ATF FLUID LOW OR TOO HIGH OR LOOKS LIKE TAR OR SMELLS LIKE SMOKE OR BURNED.
4: FILTER PACKED up or bad and sucking air. to pump.
5: PRESSURE PORT TESTS FAIL.PRNDL tests.
6: VALVES INSIDE THE BOX STICKing .
7: lots and lots more. to fail even bad clutch pack or servo pistons jammed or leaking.

This device detects engine load and tell the tranny load on engine, to delay upshifts.

Sounds like you have a leak.
P2771 = Four wheel drive low switch circuit error.
I would look for a broken wire or bad connection.

Bad actuator or wiring short I think.

Does it shift to 4wd high range ? If so then shift to 2wd . What is going on here is the transfer case motor is stopping due to the motor position sensor has gone bad which means that you replace the transfer case motor assembly. But if you wish to make it a 2wd for awhile then remove motor and manually turn shaft . This can be done by raising and supporting rear axle truck in park remove motor turn shaft slowly with pliers and rotating the play in drive shaft. There are stamped markings on back of case showing gear positions..

Make sure the fluid level is correct on the dipstick as the clutch packs will often take a while to fill with fluid and you may need to add more fluid

Check the ground out at the thermistate housing area. Put a new wire loop end if needed . but clean with wire brush or sand paper if it is on the housing . Try moving to the intake itself . Try this before tring a computer. Good Luck!

When it shifts to third does it just feel like neutral? If yes it will need rebuilt again, you hurt the 3/4 clutch.

Is the rearend blown into peices? if yes replace the whole thing. If not put it in reverse and have someone look to see if the rear driveshaft is spinning. If it is you more than likely need a ring and pinion set in the rearend. If it doesn't spin the problem is in your transmission not the rearend.
