Air Conditioner cuts off for up to several minutes at a time. When it cuts off I can't restart it by pressing the A/C on full button or change the fan speed settings. I must wait until majically it comes on again.

My heater and air conditioner shut on and off

The air conditioner is controlled by in cab air temperature so if the air temp is low then the ac compressor clutch will cycle as the thermostat switches it on or off. If you want it to work all the time you may have to run the heat as well so that the thermostat is fooled into thinking that the air temp is hot.. Have the system checked out by an auto electrician

My Air Conditioner started blowing hot air. Code p2181 came up. I have had problems with my fuse box over my battery. Could this be the problem again?

  • Press the "Power" button to turn off your unit and then remove the filter from the filter panel on the side or front of your air conditioner. Refer to your manual if you are unsure where the filter on your unit is located.

  • 2

Inspect the filter. If it is dirty, brush off dirt, debris and lint. If it is really dirty, wash it with mild soap and water and allow it to dry completely. Reinsert it into its compartment. If your filter is worn out or damaged, purchase a replacement filter from an appliance or hardware store and replace the old one.Turn on the air conditiner

  • Check for a reset button on your air conditioner and press it to reset your unit. Some of the newer air conditioners have reset buttons to restore the default factory settings. Press the "Power" button on the front panel of your air conditioner to power down your unit if it does not have a reset button. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Leave the air conditioner off for several hours to see if it will reset.

Plug your air conditioner back into the electrical outlet and turn it on. If your air conditioner is still displaying the E1 error code, turn it off and contact a qualified technician because the room thermistor response to detecting room tempeture is needs replacement I say I'd loose business but rather clients trust me then go elsewhere recommend me for what you'll pay get a new one if it doesn't work

Heater has climate control gets no heat passengerside

If you are getting heat on the driver's side but not on the passenger side, then you either have a defective or stuck passenger blend-air door actuator or a broken blend-air door.

TRY THIS FIRST: Sometimes the door and/or the catuator is just "stuck" from being in the cold position for so long during the hot months while you are using your air conditioner. I have gotten several of them working again by simply turning the temperature control to FULL COLD, wait about a minute, then turn it to FULL HOT again. You may have to repeat this a couple times to get it working correctly.

If this does not work, you will have to find out if the door is broken or if the actuator is bad and repair accordingly.

Resseting the Clock, I had to cut the battery cables and rewire them, bu i dont know how to reset the clock

Keep pressing the knob that you use to adjust bass, treble, fade, ect, keep going, you will get to clock. Next one after clock is set the clock. Then you have to be quick about it, turn that same knob to increase or decrease the hour, then it will move to minutes and turn till you get the right minutes.
You really have to be quick about it, it took me several times before I got it completed.
if anybody has the 2.5S model 2010 Altima >>> hold the Clock button for 2 seconds, when the words SEEK and TUNE appear, press the Seek button (top LEFT) up or down to change the Hour ... then press the Tune button (top RIGHT) to change the minutes ... press Clock again to end adjustments.

My wife recently had trouble staring her dodge plymouth expresso ( 3.3L engine). It seems to start fine now, however, several control buttons lighting up simultaniously. Such as the following: air...

The HVAC need to do a relearn. This will happen anytime there is a loss of battery power.

    With the engine running

-Turn the blower motor switch to high
-Turn the mode switch to vent (so that the air blows at you out the front vents)
    -Set the Temp to cold
-Simultaneously press the rear wiper wash and rear wiper on buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.

You will hear the blend doors going through there full ranges while it is doing the relearn process. If there are no faults the system will return to normal when it is done.

The air conditioner control lights on dash bord keep flashing off and on

Try this and see if it works. Let me know.
Start your van. Then slide your temp lever all the way to the left (full cold). Then turn the Mode Control to 'panel' (the one that sends air to your face only). Then turn the 'blower switch' to all the way to full. Now go to the leftmost three buttons. Press the top one (rear wiper on constant) and the bottom one (rear wiper washer fluid). Hold these two for a few seconds. Once the lights come on solid then begin to flash you can let go. The AC will now calibrate. You will feel the air blow out of all the different zones at different intervals and see lights come on and go off. Then after a minute or two the top button you pressed will be slowly flashing. This means it has been completed . Press the last flashing button and you are done.
