Question about 1996 Honda Civic
That is the check engine light and it comes on to alert you that the computer has noted a fault in one of the car's systems. You will need to have the computer scanned for any codes stored, so that the fault can be identified so appropriate corrective action can be taken. You can try an autoparts store. Most parts stores will do the scan for free if they have the capability to do so. It's worth a try. Hope this helped and best wishes.
