Try checking your ignition switch sometime they might go back

normaly its just the crank shaft sensor, make sure you get the right one for your engine.

Hi my ford transit 2007 starts for 5 seconds then cuts out, Ive changed the EGR valve, fuel filter & new fuel. Still the same. Any ideas? thanks

When failed, do you still have spark? If not, some electrical part is failing as it gets hot (maybe) Check ignition module (most common) coil(s), crank and cam sensors.

The plugs and crank sensor could have done it, but the TPS and idle air control would have nothing to do with a random miss.
A more likely cause is the ignition module or a fuel problem. You may have to wait until the problem is bad enough to kill the engine or you have more codes to check out.

What causes ignition modules to go bad in 1991 delta 88

Generally the cause of an electrical component to fail is high heat or extreme voltage load.
Is the coil pack and module getting too hot from the heat of the engine ?
Is it shorting out because of oil or wet surfaces ?
Could you be loosing voltage to the module from the key switch ?
Are you loosing ground signals from the computer ?

1990 Buick Lesabre keeps stalling

Check ecm for part number 1228253. If it has this number in it replace it with a 16198264. Gm had trouble with that ecm for a cutting off problem. Mine would stall driving down the road and when I would put it neutral it would start back up and not have any trouble for the rest of the day. You must set the tps with a volt meter or scan tool.
