A licking noise starts when the car stops in the front dash then the battery goes dead by the next morning even with new batteries

licking? my guess, clicking?
this question could get lots of banned answers, watch out.
car stated is this a World war 2 jeep (willis?)'
no year,?
no country.? they sell them and make them outside usa,

the car for sure needs service, the only thing active is head lamps
key off, (and horn and alarm)
1: does the car drive? ok.
2: do the head lights work and glow bright.
3: when you do drive is the CEL lamp in the dash glowing (check engine light)
any way its an electrical failure. if car drives ok...
my guess, HVAC controls messed up.
or a damaged Ignition key switch.

Hey,

You can try another battery if you have one, or take the battery to be tested somewhere to see if its at fault

Buzzing after replacing battery

Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems
Listen under the hood in engine compartment , see if maybe your mistaken . Disconnecting the battery could cause Electronic throttle control to cycle the throttle plate , DC electric motor on the throttle body . Without hearing for myself ,that's the best i can come up with . Looking at factory service info. ,wiring harnesses , relay's , control modules . I don't see anything behind the instrument panel that could cause a buzzing

Just had battery changed on '03 GMC Envoy. now I'm getting a clicking noise under dash, lasts about 30 seconds then stops. Garage said it would take a couple of days for computer to "reset...

This is a somewhat common problem with the HVAC door actuators, especially after a battery change. The repair can be fairly involved because it requires some dashboard disassembly.

Clicking noise like clock in the dash.

That is the body computer making noise. It has a time out feature that turns the auto lights off after 30-90 seconds, and the interior lights are the same way. Sounds like it may be going bad.

Electrical Problem and now won't start

One common problem is with intrument cluster solder joints where the cable connector attaches to the circuit board. Solder joints fracture. Resolder. Use Hanes manual to get dashboard apart.

Indication is instrument panel goes dead and car sometimes will not start.

Other possibilites are loose connectors or poor connections in cable harnesses.
