Your bearings are worn out they do alot of work because under boost it will turn 100000 plus ,and that one reason if you have a turbo engine you need to change oil more than a regular engine, and if you keep on driveing the guts will come apart and get in your engine and cause alot more damage,I hope this helps you?I know this is not what you wanted to hear,so please dont be to hard on me.

Hi mate I have got nissan 200 sx .2001 turbo of my car has stopped working .someone told me there is a leakage in turbo .is it can be fixed .please let me know

Turbo's do not leak as such but hoses connected to it do so check all hose connections and the intercooler for air leaks/cracks in seams /welds . If there is an oil seal leaking it will show up as blue smoke in the exhaust. There is an actuator that varies the turbine vanes to give more boost at low rpm's and this is actuated by a sensor and a rubber hose connected to the vacuum . If the vanes are stuck or the rubber hose is cracked /broken then you will have a vacuum leak and low/no boost at low revs.

Oil leaking around turbo on 2000 jetta

If you are getting boost, your turbo is likely not blown. There is a banjo bolt connection for the turbo oil. If it has loosened, then it would be leaking oil on the outside of the turbo. A blown turbo leaks on the inside (I believe, though not positive).

I don't have a TDI, but have a VW 1.8T with a turbo I recently replaced.

There is really nothing to fix other than to replace the turbo. It is not a tough job (at least the 1.8T wasn't) though it took 11 hours to complete. So you should try to get the oil leak fixed (near too much heat to ignore) but should likely only need to replace if it's not providing boost, or making strange sounds.

A4 2.5tdi quattro tiptronic 180 bph 2002 .put in 4 new intercoolers in it the last year. The intercoolers are bursting open when excelerating,

Hi
More than just bad luck i suspect. Problem will almost surely be turbo overboost. Possible causes, wastegate jammed, actuator siezed, boost sensor inop. Best advice is to have fault codes and live data read with a suitable scan tool to determine the exact cause of the overboost condition. Easy enough job for competent garage.

Turbo in 1985 cavalier is not working

Sounds like you may have turbo failure. The bearings may be bad and running the engine would damage it more if a turbo fin breaks of and endes up in the pistons. If there is lot's of blue smoke from the tail pipe then it's your turbo, if not it could be your boost side pipe clamp or tube gone bad or your wastegate actuator. Good luck and hope this helps
