Check sway bar links to be sure they are not making the noise, or could be a strut.

Check lower ball joint and tie rod ends on drivers side.Sounds like it could be a worn out ball joint.

Could in fact be the coupling in the column or something in the gear box.
Might be a ball joint or tie rod end which can be tough to check off the ground.

When I was driving my 2006 Ford 500 on high way, the car slips into other lane even I hold the steering handle firmly. It is so dangerous and your help is greatly appreciated

stop driving this vehicle before you kill yourself ! you got something in the steering components that is broken and you will have to raise the vehicle to see what is not right. the parts to inspect are the tie-rod ends, ball joints, pitman arm and such. raise the vehicle so you can see and have someone else turn the steering left and right and see what is loose. it should be easy to spot if your car changes lanes on it's own. once you found the problem, fix it before you kill yourself

Cant get ball goints to last longer than a month on a 99 durango they pop extremly loud and it wears tires out bad and thoughts on how to fix ball joint problems and i have tried many brands and many times...

Not trying to critique, but it sounds like they're not being installed correctly, and the front end alignment being done, is not correct.

(The front end is being aligned, after the ball joints are installed, RIGHT?)

99 dodge durango needs ball joints

Well if you get an alignment after you put the new ones in you should be alright. As far as these new ball joints they probably just come pre-pressed on the arms and if thats the case then you will have to mess with the coil springs in which case you will need a special tool and you will have to align it all just right or you will have problems later on, i would just stick with the unpressed ball joints also make sure u have something to press them with like a heavy duty vise or a press itself don't use a hammer cause this will damage them.

Stiff steering

hi you may have two problems.the banging noise can be either struts/shocks or ball joints.as for stiff steering can be either power steering. or ball joints.bad ball joints can make a banging moise and make it stiff when turnning the wheels.
