Question about 1995 GMC Sierra C1500
I can't hear the fuel pump working and its not getting any fuel to the injectors but when i pour fuel in the throttle body it still wont start, just turns over like nothings there. it was running before but it use to die on me at random times. is it the fuel pump or maybe something else?
Fuel gets pressure from the pump, but if the injector or injectors don't "fire," the fuel won't pass. This can be tested with a noid light plugged into the injector harness. It's a good possibility that the ignition module is bad. It's located under the distibutor cap, or under coil packs on newer versions. Some parts stores can test modules for you.
