Question about 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee
None of the dashboard lights work, changed fuse on rt side of dash in fuse box, light in gearshift lever also out, as well as lights on dash controls. only light that works is the compass, and the heater temperature, and the screen that shows the mileage till next service and date and time. tried changing fuses, got them to come on briefly, then all went out again,
also, where is the sending unit or sensor for the coolant temperature located on the 6 cyl engine? it is the only guage that does not work/
The sensor is located in the very front on top of engine slightly to the right, If you open the hood and lean over the engine just so you can see through the gap between the fan and the engine you will see two rubber radatior hoses kinda to the left then you will see the sensor to the right of them ,kinda looks like a spark plug with a plastic plug on the end of it with two wires connected to it.It screws into the ingine.
