Question about 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab
MAKES NOISE WITH AC ON. SOUNDS AS IF SOME KIND OF DOOR IS OPENING AND CLOSING.ABOUT EVERY 30 SEC.ONLY HEAR CLOSING. MAKES THE NOISE ON AC AND MAX AIR. THE FAN ON HI DROWNS OUT NOISE. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
Most of the time this noise is heard when a temperature actuator has gone bad, you can check this by changing temperatures and noting if the noise changes in sound. If so then replaced the actuator. If no change is noted, then open and lower the glove box and while changing from a/c to max a/c, check that the recirculation door is moving into place and not flapping. if flapping, the recirculation door is broken and will need replacement.
