Then either the shift lever needs to be adjusted, or fifth gear is gone all together. The shift lever is properly adjusted if, when in Neutral, it rests in the center of the shift pattern. If it doesn't, it needs to be adjusted.

Loosen the the shift assembly housing nuts and guide plate bolts, then move the guide plate forward or backso the shift lever in the middle of the plate is at a right angle.

Once the shift lever is centered, tighten the guide plate bolts, followed by the housing nuts.

We bought a 2000 suzuki swift with 94,000 miles on it. The head lights dont turn on, but the parking lights work and the high beams work. Do you think its the fuse?

Check bulbs. If high beams work, then the fuse is likely fine. Do double check fuse box anyway though. If all checks out, then check the headlight switch stalk with a multimeter.

My 1997 suzuki swift shuts off after going over 60 kph

This cars engine is controlled by a computer called the PCM, this computer stores a fault code when this type of failure occurs, you now need the code read with a scanner by a factory technician and diagnostics run for the codes received..

sounds to me like something is definitly sticking, with the engine off, try lubrication the throttle controls, ensure that the electrical fittings are secure on the throttle body, this may also be a choke problem, best to get it looked at really, hard to say on here, good luck, be safe.

1994 suzuki swift surging

Have you replaced the fuel filter, if it is partially blocked it will cause surging. Or the air sensor down by the air filter is a very fine wire that gives incorrect readings if dirty ( normally from running a pod filter) . You can buy a spray that you spray in the intake with the engine running to clean it. Hope this works cheers :)
