Question about 2005 Buick LaCrosse
The cap for the power steering fluid is located to the rear of the engine on the left side and quite a distance down from the top. It is not easy to get to and you need to be very careful not to burn yourself when accessing it since it is near the exhaust manifold. Best to top it off when the engine is cold.

SOURCE: power steering
The power steering reservoir on 3800 V6-equipped vehicles is located behind and below the rear cylinder head.
With the engine off unscrew the resevior cap and remove the cap wipe the dip stick with a clean cloth(paper towel) and re-install. remove once more and check the level on the dipstick. and then reinstall turn till it stops

It is very hard to see, its back and underneath the altenator, use a flashlight to find it buried under wires and tubes.

The power steering pump is in the front of the engine. You will see the serpentine belt on the pulley and it will look something like htis picture. The pump has a resevoir with a cap on top which is removable and has a dipstick built in to tell you how low you are on fluid.
