No it is not. 4.4l BMW engines are numbered from the front passenger side 1234 and starting on the drivers side from the rear 5678. In other words standing in front of the engine the #1 cylinder is the first on your left and #8 is first on your right. Right out of the Bentley Manuel.

1998 bmw 540i having a misfire on cylinder 5 changed the plugs and coil packs. It ran fine for a couple days, then it began again, giving me a check engine, and it's idling rough at low rpms.

Is the same cylinder causing the problem? If so take a close look at the spark plug for fuel fouling. The cylinder may be over fueled causing plug fouling. You may also have a bad coil or defective spark plug. Try swapping coil and plug with one from adjacent cylinder to see if misfire changes to that cylinder

Check connection to the starter? Try it in neutral? Is there an alarm installed? Maybe active but on silent

P0155 wear does it go

This is the O2 sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 1. It really depends on which engine you have(or what model). If this is a V-8 version(540i) then it would be on the opposite side of the number 1 cylinder in the exhaust manifold. If this is a L6 (535i or below) this is likely the one prior to the catalytic converter in the pipe.

What is the firing order for a 1984 ford bronco 2

1-4-2-5-3-6
Now you need to know which cylinder is which. If you stand at the front of the truck looking at the engine, the number 1 cylinder is on the left closest to you. The left bank has cylinders 1-3-5 and the right bank has 2-4-6. So number 1 is at the left front and number 6 is at the right rear.
