Question about 1992 Ford Taurus
91 Ford Ranger XLT, 4 cyl, manual 5 spd. Engine will turn over, immediately start, and actually run well - but only as long as I keep my hand on the ignition switch with it just outside of the "Start" mode. However, as soon as I take my hand off the key and the ignition switch fully drops into the "Run" position, the engine immediately stops. Replaced ignition switch on column, to no effect. Ignition module needs changed? If so, where is it located? The manual doesn't have any pictures.
