I have a 1997 Chevy Suburban. Yesterday all four windows have stopped working. I was told it was a fuse but that is not the issue. What is the problem? None of the windows will move!

Sounds like your power window relay went bad.

1995 ford windstar- windows will not opperate by switches car isrunning and windows not go up or down

If none of the windows will move, it would seem that there is no electrical power to the circuit. Check the fuse first. If it's OK, then find the break in the electrical wiring between the fuse and window switches.

Power windows stopped working

If the power to the illumination and the switches is out in the door, I would say it is a broken wire in the A-pillar to the door on the driver's side.

This is a Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire, it powers both the illumination and the windows themselves.

Pasenger side window will not opperate

remove the door panel so that you can get to the power window motor. check that none of the wire connections have came loose from shutting the door. if the problem persist, you may need to change the window motor itself.

The control switch only opperates on four positions, in the #5 it doesnt work

you need a new blower motor resister. you will begin losing the other speeds one by one. it is located under the right side of the dash , inserted in the air duct, near the fan part available at most parts stores.

All four windows stopped working it is not fuses or relays?

It is more than likely the master window switch on the driver side door. If this switch goes out none of the other switches will work.

I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 and none of my windows roll up or down

1. have window switch checked 2.unplug all window motors,3.plug one window motor up at a time to determine which window motor causes the fuses to blow. 4.the could be an electrical short inside motor, check all wires to motors to be shure that none of the wire insulation has been cut. 5.check wiring diragram and have body control computer checked.

The drivers side window can be opperated from the drivers side. The passanger side window does not opperate from either side . It appears that the window lock safety swith on the drivers side is not...

If the problem was with the lock you would still be able to raise or lower the window from the drivers seat, most likely the window motor has burned up,I would try pulling the door panel and tap the motor most times they will work for awhile, but ebay has the whole window regulator with motor for 99.00 I had to replace both driver and passenger in my 01 grand cherokee.was a1auto I think on ebay.

Unable to shut the windows...none of the four windows close...either from the central or from the individual door buttons....pl. assista

Sorry but without the right tools and the complex nature of tracing wiring you may have to resort to an electrian who shouldnt take more than an hour to diagnose and possibly fix as it sounds like a main power switch, relay or fuse that has failed and they are not hard to trace or fix
