There shuld be a tab on it showing you the voltage and amps. for that spesific unit, an 875 cranking amp (if it could fit should do well)

Ive got a hydrogen generator that needs to pull 30 - 35 amps from the battery through the alternator. during idle of the engine the system is only pulling 22 amps although it can and wants more. Does...

The size of the wire going from the + side of your battery will influence the amount of amps available to the generator.
Amount of amperage produced by the alternator is affected by engine RPM. The regulator senses battery condition and battery draw and controls charging up to the rated amps on the alternator.
The peak amount of charge the alternator can deliver will be at be off idle and up till the regulator senses max out put of alternator then holds it there.
You should be able to draw all 35 amps from a good battery with the right size wires with the vehicle off.
Some generators use Pulse width Modulators to help control the amps.
I am no expert on Hydrogen Generators so you are way ahead of the game than me. I do keep my ears to the tracks on them.
My best wishes to you on your adventure.

A 78 series battery with at least 800 cold cranking amps. If you have a lot of electrical items, you might check into a larger amp alternator.

What kind of battery can I use for my 2002 model Ford Escape? My car is a 4X4, 2.6 engin size

You sate you have the 2.6 liter engine. Is it four or six cylinders? The number of cylinders is also used to determine the correct battery amps. The following information is for the four cylinder engine...You can use any battery with at least 590 cold cranking amps, 620 cold cranking amps, or 720 cold cranking amps. The following is for the six cylinder engine...You can use any battery with at least 590 cold cranking amps, 620 cold cranking amps or 720 cold cranking amps. The auto parts store can help you decide the best battery for your vehicle.

Battery cable burned & split, what's the problem?

When a battery clamp is dirty and corroded it will generate more heat when cranking the engine. If it is slightly loose it will generate more heat. If the engine is hard to start requiring more cranking more heat will be generated. This can contribute to the deterioration of the cables causing the burn and splitting.

What kind of battery do i need for my 05 sebring

You need an 86 series with at least 600 cold cranking amps depending on the climate of where you live. If you are up north, I would get one with around 800 cold cranking amps. The local part store has these in stock.
