Is it saying it is to hot?If so,and you know that the engine is not hot, replace the temperature sending unit. With ac off, engine running, make sure the cooling fans come on,and go off by themm selves. This will tell you that the engine is reaching normal temp, and when the fan cuts off, then it has cooled down.I hope this helps you.
