Can i get free rebuild manual step x step instructions on rebuilding dodge 46RE automatic 4 x 4 transmission

I can more then likely make you up a PDF and don't mind doing it. Feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net and I'll do my best to help. It will be easier if you can let me know the model and engine size but guessing it's a Ram (1500 - 3500) with a 5.9 and I believe the years for that tranny was the late 90's to about the mid 2000's.

What transmission is in a 1998 jeep grand cherokee laredo

What engine? It could have two different transmissions in it 4.0 usually has a 42re trans and 5.2 usually has a 46re. The 42re has a rectangular pan and the 46re pan is shaped the same but has a protruded edge of the pan on the drivers side front edge.

How do you remove a transmission 1991 ford tempo

It would take way to long to tell you a step by step procedure in here.
You can get a haynes auto repair manual for that car, it gives a step by step procedure on most major removal and installation jobs. Most auto parts stores stock them, about $17.00.

I have a 94 cherokee limited 5.2 v8. which transmissions are come

The 46rh is a hydraulic transmission as where the 46re is an electric transmission. With minor wiring you can replace the 46re with the 46rh but not the other way around. Your transmission would stay in limp mode and wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear. So the answer is no.

How to remove tailshaft on 46re auto transmission

2wd? If you remove the tailshaft you will be removing the whole overdrive assembly. I would try pulling the driveshaft and seal. Then see if you can remove and install a new bushing. It is quit a bit of work to reinstall the overdrive unit.
