Question about 1999 Cadillac DeVille
If you have no obvious external coolant leaks then the most likely culprits would be leaking head gaskets or warped heads. I would take the car to an engine rebuilding shop and get a second opinion to the dealer, not to say that they are wrong, but your engine may be salvageable at a cheaper cost and those guys would be better positioned to tell you that.
