Question about 2001 Honda Accord
I have a 2001 Honda Accord, SRS light went on a few months back I received a recall letter regarding the deflator of the airbags due to malfunction. They want to charge 700.00 to fix SRS unit (they said that it is not covered under warranty) but they would replace deflator but airbags would not deploy if SRS unit if not replaced. Is this true? Any chance the SRS light went on, when the deflator stopped working?
That is usually the case. That is to inform you of a malfunction with that particular part of your vehicle.
