does the engine crank over? try letting the truck sit for 10-15 minutes and try again.

- check the fuel pump relay for a click when u turn the key to run, the relay is in the under hood fuse box on the drivers side, have someone turn the key to on/run, you will hear a relay click then click off, this happens in about one second, if u do here the relay you will need to replace the fuel pump and the fuel pump connector at the fuel tank, it is a known problem on this year of truck, if it has over 100,000 miles it is almost fro sure the issue.

- I am a little confused here you said it wasn't getting fuel?? in any event the thing to do at this point is verify the fuel pressure, then also run a test of the electronic engine control computer, u will need to bring it into a shop to have these 2 tests done as both require special tools, a fuel pressure test gauge thats hooks to the fuel rail of the injectors to test the pressure and a system scan tool to read the trouble codes.

- you didn't say you replaced the fuel pump a year ago, so u left out an important detail, still do the trouble code test, unless u want to start making very expensive guesses, as far as the fuel pump goes, was the connector at the tank replaced? this is very important as that is the root cause of the fuel pump failing, buy of course you already gave me a thumbs down so good luck, just be doing tHis for 35 years what do i know??

check the wires for the crank sensor for power and the coil wire and see if there is a fuel cut off switch may have tripped that if you slamed on breaks i think this is called an inurtia switch this can be tripped by sudden stop, roll over, flat tire,or accidents impacts.
