Water is leaking INSIDE my car

Water started leaking INSIDE my car yesterday (10/5/09),pouring out over the accelerator pedal and also from the far right passenger side. Dealer said sometimes vents get clogged and water backs up. They used an air blower to dry things out, but the problem is still there though not as bad.
This area recently (2 weeks ago) experienced torrential rains and standing water in roads and I had my car washed last week, but one would think the water would have been gone by now.
Any ideas? Thx

Well, the A/C drain may very well be clogged. What happens is, trash and leaves and such will fall into the fresh air vent outside the car eventualy making its way down into the air box, where the evap core is located. The evap core housing/ air box has a drain for the condensation from the evap core to drain. This drain gets stopped up from the dirt, leaves and trash, in turn causes the condensation to overflow into the car. One way to avoid this in the future is to run your A/C on the recirculated air mode, thast way your not pulling all the trash in from outside.

Hello, I might help a little . It sounds like the accelerator pump is not working inside of the carburetor . The coolant leak could be just a loose hose clamp. Try to adjust the idle speed screw to increase the idle speed. Good luck.

Rain leaks

NO, it is most likely getting in through the cowl vent area under the wipers. Normally the water drains out the inner fender, but if its clogged with leaves and pine needles, it wont drain and will fill up past the cool air intake and get into the cabin. I would pull the cowl vent grille and make sure the drains are not clogged.

White smoke coming out of exhaust is water vapor. Blue is oil burning and black is carbon from unburned fuel.
U have water or coolant leaking into your combustion cylinders - not a good thing. Probably blown head gasket.

Check your oil - if it like a brown mud then the coolant has also gotten into the lubrication system.

Sounds like you might have some water in your tank "BAD GAS", Try a bottle of HEAT and pour into tanl and drive a few day's, This should help it. When weather warms most os the gas stations have water that gets into there tank. If this don't work you might check engine for vacume leaks, good luck to you.

Brake pedal traveling to the floor is air in the system or a failing brake booster.

Poor acceleration could be a clogged cat. You would have to remove it to know for sure.

the water can travel along surfaces or beams in the car so you cannot tell where it is actually leaking. in my ford windstar water leaked in right over the fuse box. it ran along a cross beam from the passenger side. if it has those plastic strips they use to go in between small gaps in the metal... like along the roof where the roof is and the metal of the sides joins it is likely they are leaking. best to take a garden hose and have someone inside the car with a flashlight on the floor looking for leaks

You have a vacuum loss somewhere in the cabin area or a bad vacuum motor that operates the air flow door to all the vented areas in the cabin area.
