2003 kia sedona drive belt tensioner diagram

Sounds like you removed the belt prior to drawing a diagram or taking a picture of how the belt runs. Can you add more detail information of your vehicle like does it have power steering, A/C, and if water pump runs off same belt ?

Where is the water pump located on a 2003 kia sorento

It is hard to find because like Forthstarbo says it is behind the belt cover but if you do not know the car you have to find that. So look for belts at one end of the engine and you will see a belt. It is behind the belt and here is a picture of the water pump. it is a major job as you have to pull the entire front and at least one pulley.

Air conditioning doesnt work, mechanic says i need a belt but i cannot find a belt to go to this ac system nor do i know where to put it... This hyperlink should take you to the page on which number thirteen is the correct belt assuming your car is the hatchback, if not you will need to go back through to your model and specs. Also, it gives a picture of a broken down compressor, to which the belt is attached. If thats not exact enough, it should be basically one of the only belts you can see when you open your hood. If not, its on the right hand side, directly adjacent to the engine, and runs down to the compressor.

Need diagram for instaalling serpentine belt on 1989 chevy s10 2.5 engine belt broke and no diagram

Picture is for the carbureted model but has the same patter as my fuel injected model. It's actually pretty easy to see how it goes. If the pully has groves then the grove side of the belt will fit right in it prefectly. If it's smooth then the back side of the belt with run along it. To loosen the belt tensioner do two things. first in the picture below you will see in the top middle you will see the tensioner. The back of the belt runs along it. You will notice that it looks like a solid peice. loosen the top slighty with i believe a 15mm. After that connect to the pully attached to it and pull back to the passenger side until you can slid the belt off the alternator. put back on in reverse order. really really simple once you do it. good luck

I need a picture of the tentionor. Also my alternater is shot, what is the serpentine belt. and also i would like to know the mpg, tank size, max gross weight and how do i go about changing the fan belt

it is called tensioner, spring loaded pulley to keep belt at proper tension, surpenten belt is rubber belt that runs everything connected by pulleys, best bet on how to repair these as u are inexperienced from the questions is get a chiltons or haynes manual at parts store for $25 and tools

Cannot get it back on car

Ok. To start with check to make sure all the pulleys, idlers and equip is all there If this car is 1998 Ford Escort with 2.0 L. not ZX2 you should have 6 pulleys. You will need some metric wrenches to move the tensioner pulley. Starting at the bottom this should be the Crank shaft the belt runs on the outside of the pulley . Next to the right should be an A/C and the belt runs on the outside of this pulley next is the idler the belt runs on the inside of this one. top most pulley should be the Power steering the belt runs on the outside of this pulley and goes over to the alternator outside of this one also last is the Tensioner assembly the belt runs on the inside of this one. Now is when you need the metric wrench some are 15mm some are 16mm. You have to move the tensioner pulling to the outside to release the tension and slip the belt on. It may be easier to slip the belt off the power steering and behind the tensioner pulley then release the tensioner and have some one else slip the belt on. sbfd00001.png I Found a picture up it not the right way up the CS is the crankshaft and it's on the bottom picture should be turn 90 degrees to the left.

Replaceing serpentine belt and need slack on tention how do you

Under the hood on the radiator support bracket is a belt routing diagram.
To remove/install you will need a belt tensioner prybar.
Remove the belt tension by prying back on the tensioner using the nut in the middle of the black pulley in the following picture.....
It is pretty strong - you will need a really long handled wrench - or most autoparts stores sell/rent them.

5a9838c.jpg Take not of the way your belt runs over/under pulleys.
Without more info on your truck.... engine size, options etc... we cannot provide an accurate routing diagram.
The parts store that has your belt will also supply you with the routing diagram.

check to see if a belt diagram is under hood . if not draw a picture of how the belt runs around componets then you will have to lift engine... disconnect front motor motor by belt ...then with a 15mm wrench or socket to release pressure from the tensioner .located just below the alternator remove belt
