I have replaced all bulbs on the left side of my park avenue and the signal still does not work except on the right side.the arrow on the instrument cluster does not even blink on the left side.
If the right side blinks normal, the flasher MAY be OK?? do the hazard lights flash all lights?it should. make sure you have all the correct bulbs. if so, replace the flasher unit. if the right side works turn it on and follow the ticking to find th eunit.

Check the contacts in the light fitting itself. Connect a wire to the positive terminal of the battery and touch all the contacts except the ground and see if all bulbs light up. If they do then replace the indicator cable completely.
Replacing a front turn signal bulb is easy, as I just did my own. On the front driver's side, look at the wheel well splash panel and you'll see one plastic pin. Use a claw hammer and pull the pin out. Now just pull the plastic splash panel out of your way.
Look behind the front bumper and you'll see the light fixture. The top left wire and & bulb socket is right there. Give the socket a 1/4 turn to the left and you have access to replacing the bulb which is a 194, available at any parts store, 2 for $5.00.
Does the front and rear light on the right side come on when you activate the switch ? If a light is out the system won't flash. If one side comes on and the other does not, the problem is usually in the turn signal switch.
Open hood and look behind headlight assy for location of bulb-should be directly opposite of lens. The bulb will most likely be in the wired socket which is removed by a 1/4 turn to left. See if that works
Howdy, No Big Deal, Follow this,
Common Power To Left and Right Signal , orange wire to flasher relay for left black wire for right, there are two relays inside flasher module 1 the left and right signal share the other is for the hazards. The is a common ground for the signal lights and hazard so if one side works good ground if the hazard works good ground...maybe power wire from 320 dollar turn signal unit maybe 160 on ebay....hope this helps keep smiling.....Doug in Clermont, Florida
I have a 98 Bucik Park Avenue. I recently had it painted and when the body man put the lights back in I began having problems with the brake lights and turn signal lights. Only one brake light lights up and only on signal light lightsup and they are on opposite sides. I have changed the bulbs (all) and I have tested the fuses(All).
If the left side still works, its not the blinker relay, the thing you hear ticking. Both left and right signals go through the same signal stat. Turn on your hazard flashers and make sure the bulbs on both the left and right side come on. If the do, you may have a problem with the turn signal switch on the steering column itself. If only the left comes on, it could be bad bulbs on the right side or a wiring issue. Wiring issues are more rare on Park Aves.
should be plastic clips holding it up...
if not let me go to the junk yard and look at a park ave...I know all buicks but this one is blank in my mind.
