Question about 2006 Infiniti QX56
The unit is asking for the map disk. If the Disk is inside the unit, then the GPS has a problem reading the disk.
This is usually a lens problem.
Because of a dirty or defective lens, the Sat Nav does not detect any disk and returns the "No Disk" error.
Try first cleaning the lens with a DVD cleaner disk.
If that does not fix the problem, then the DVD drive unit must be taken apart and fixed replacing the lens pickup, or replacing the whole unit.
Try first playing the cleaner DVD several times to clean the lens, that is often enough to fix the problem.
If that does not work, before repairing the unit try also disconnecting the battery cable for a couple of minutes, that will reset the unit. Ensure that you have anti theft code if needed.
