Question about 1996 Ford F250 Crew Cab
If you mean it is about to fall off in your hands, it needs to be tightened firmly to the steering column. If you mean the wheel has a lot of play left and right, you have worn steering components and should visit a garage asap. Things like the tie rod ends are worn, ball joints etc are just a few of the critical parts that need attention in any vehicle.

It most be a tilt steering column, usually there are three or four screws inside the column that loosen up they need to be tightened by disasembling the column through the top
