I couldn't get the nut off the +ve battery connector up top, it was too tight. I cleared the codes with an autoxray diagnostic tester, and the MIL went out. Is this the same as you said to reset the eng. computer? Thank you.

Disconnect the battery to reset the computer for a few minutes and it should go away. The code is no I/P cluster ccd/J1850 no message received. Also when you turn the key over to start the car leave it in the ignition position for a few second before you start the car.

This is being caused by the computer system that has shut down the network.this could be anyone of the computers on the bus network. Most common is the eng computer. Reetting the computer as instructed for P1681 may take care of it for you. If not you will need to go have your computer tested

My 2002 put cruiser reads no bus in ?the odomator display even with ?the key off and out also dash lights flash off and on

The no bus message means one of the control modules isn't communicating on the data bus or isn't working ! I don't know how many modules yours has but ,if it has antilock brakes an I know it has air bags , an PCM - engine transmission computer , the instrument cluster has a control module an all these modules are on a serial data communication network , there share information ! The speedometer gets it's info from the VSS vehicle speed sensor through the PCM over the bus to the instrument cluster same with coolant temperature ! So I would have it taken to the dealer if you don't know about this stuff ! Need special tools to test this 2004 Chrysler Sebring No Bus message in cluster testing

I have a chrysler concorde 1998 the speedo works occasionally i checked the codes with a code reader no codes were givin i checked fuses all is good any ideas?????

No generic code reader will read anything other than PCM/ECU codes, and sometimes ABS codes if you spend a little extra money.

The 1998 Chrysler Concorde also didn't have a instrument cluster that was controlled by the Body Computer. (BCM)
If your speedometer is working occasionally, then chances are that there is a intermittent short in the wiring or that one gauge is just going bad.

While you're driving or when it happens, try to pay attention to what makes it happen... Hitting bumps in the road or hitting the dash with your hand will be a sign of possible bad wiring.
If it worked when you shut the car off, and then doesn't work when you start it back up the next day could mean that the speedometer and/or instrument cluster is going bad.

Did not pass state inspection (vehicle)

First the fault codes,
U110C is No Fuel Level Bus Message
U0155 is No Cluster Bus Message.
Unfortunatly you have to be able to communicate with the instrument cluster with your scanner to diagnoise and I do not think an aftermarket scanner can do this.

Odometer has warning code what is it no bus5

The bus is the communication interface between the many modules or computers on your vehicle. The engine and transmission modules need to be able to communicate with the cluster as well as the airbag, antilock brakes, and body control module to turn certain lights on and make gauges function. "No bus" means the communication line is either open or shorted and the cluster can't determine the inputs from the other modules. Any given module on the vehicle can pull the bus down as well as wiring. It is most likely a module causing the problem. One way to find the culprit is to disconnect each module with the key on until the odometer comes back to life. If it starts and runs, drives and shifts normal, I would do the engine and transmission last. I would start with the ABS and overhead console (if it has one). I hope this helps.

No bu5 light is on

It is "no bus". It means the cluster is unable to communicate with the other controllers through the PCI bus. The engine controller tells the cluster fuel level, engine temp, and oil pressure. The transmission controller and ABS tell the cluster to display speedometer functions, warning lights and such. Air bag communicates when to turn the light on and so on.

What is a engine code 55??

Here is an exact quote from Chrysler, hope it helps. Good luck.
"Code 55 indicates end of codes. If you are retrieving codes, code 55 will indicated that you have reached the end of the code list. Code 55 will always be reported regardless of if there is another code to report or not. If you don’t receive a code 55 when retrieving codes, the power limited light may be burned out (or you may not have done the code checking procedure correctly."
