Hi Gr8est,

Condensation is forming from water vapor inside the vehicle. Kind of a vicious circle. The interior needs to be dried out so this can stop.

I'd start with a heavy duty vacuum, like at a car wash or a wet/dry shop vac. They'll take a lot of the moisture out.

Next open the doors and stick a fan in to help the remaining moisture evaporate and go elsewhere.

You'll notice the difference pretty quickly.

Best regards
Mike

The rear ac evaporator box is not draining very well, and it is blowing the condensation up threw the vents, most likely. The drain should be under the rear passengers side wheel well.

The a/c condensation goes on the inside of the passenger side floor board and now the fan motor doesn't work. What do I do about this? Any idea about the cost?

drain in the firewall is probably plugged. the motor is probably a result of the water laying in there. blower motor new is about 40 dollars, then someone to install it.

The passenger side floorboard gets wet =

is it only when the ac is on? there is a pan under the ac unit that has a hole in it to allow the condensation to empty. if that hole gets plugged it could cause the condensation to build up and back into the inside of that car. i unplugged mine and floor stayed dry

Water in the passenger floor board of my 2005 chevy cobalt

check your heater coil under the dash on passanger side for leak at joint areas. it could be condensation from the AC condencer dripping down the line that goes into the firewall, if so seal that area with a good sylicone.

Water leak passenger side in dodge caravan 2005 carpet soaked

look at the firewall on the engine side and you will see a small stub hose coming out on passenger side about even with the bottom of the heater box inside. that hose drains condensation from the ac...clear it out and you will have a dry floor. (unless heater core is leaking but you didn't mention any overheat or coolant loss so likely that's not a problem)
