Question about 1998 Chrysler Sebring
Thanks for using FixYa. The headlights would be flashing and the cars own horn would be honking. The factory alarm and the door lock mechanism are interconnected and to disconnect it either the factory remote or wire in resistors would be required. As the vehicle uses the Daimler Sentry Key® Vehicle Immobilizer which sends an RF signal to the Body Control Module (BCM) through an antenna located around the ignition cylinder to allow the engine to start only with the proper key, or bypass module. To avoid stalling of the vehicle, bypass is required to rule out its stalling.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
