SOURCE: battery on my mini coopers is completely dead,

pull up the rear seat (the bit you sit on ) , it is held in place with pop fasteners , so just pull it up the way. underneath is a cord with a loop to pull to open the boot catch.

SOURCE: battery dead, boot will not open nor key turn in

If you look at your remote key fob you will see a small metal "silver part" this should pull out of your keyfob, this is an override key, if you look on the car door where the handle is you will see a thin slot to put this in, lock then unlock the car, this will disable the dead locks and you will be able to open the boot.

This may sound a bit crazy if you have not noticed the silver part on the keyfob before, so do get back to me if you are unsure what I mean and I can send you a picture, if the metal override key is missing then you have trouble getting in the boot.

Hope this helps, like I said do get back to me if you are unsure.

SOURCE: Battery completely dead, unable to

First thing you are going to have to do is open the hood, boot, so you can get to the battery. If you can't get to the battery or the alternator there is nothing you can do. The Hood, boot, is a manual release not electronic and should you be unfortunate enough to have a battery located in the Storage area, trunk area, you can always use the key to open it. Based on the terms you used I have to assume you are in Europe so once you get to the battery try jumping the vehicle, if the vehicle starts and runs then the problem is most likely the battery, if it starts but dies once you disconnect the jumper cables the problem is the alternator or charging system. I don't know where you could get manuals on your vehicle in Europe other than on line. Haynes and Chilton's make some excellent manuals that could assist you in finding the actual problem if it is the Alternator or Charging system.

SOURCE: mercedes e220cdi 2003 battery is

This is a very serious situation as there are only a few ways you can go about this.
The surest way out of this is to call a mechanic over and have him help you open the lock from outside.
He can do this by picking the lock or by working on the door panel.
There is no other secure method as the car would not come on neither will it open.
hope this helped you? Please comment for more information.

Mercedes-Benz 230clk coupe 1998 with dead battery

I had same problem with my 2002 CLK430. Dead battery with car locked. You can't open doors with the mechanical key (inside remote key), as windows need power to slide down slightly to allow clearance, so you can't access the hood release. The answer is to insert the mechanical key in the key hole for the trunk (boot). It will only go in one way, with the slightly larger grip part down. I found it easiest to turn with a pair of flat nosed pliers. Turn counterclockwise to the left to to the 11 o'clock position. Then push the release in and the trunk will open. Battery is located in the right rear quarter under the flooring panel that also covers spare tire. Hook up charger or jumper cables and power will come back on, as will alarm. To disable, just push the unlock button on the remote key. You should be good to go from here!
