On the front turn signal cover there are 4 phillips head screws (1 on each corner) holding it onto the grill. Unscrew those 4 screws and pull the cover out some and you will see that there are 2 turn signal harness attached to the back of the lens. Push in the little plastic arm on the side of the harness and twist them to the right I think. This will unattach the harness from the back of the lens allowing you to pull it out. To get the bulb out of the harness, hold the harness and twist the bulb to the right or left and pull it out. On the bulb there is a little notch that will only allow you to turn it one way. Hope that helps.

On top of the head light housing there will be two little metal rods about 1/8" round. They wiil be on each side of the housing on the top.Turn these out twords the front of the truck and pull them up ,.Once you remove them you will be able to get to the bulb.Twist the socket and remove the bulb. Then remove the wire harness. When installing the new bulb remember not to touch the new bulb with your bare hands.I use a paper towl to intstall the new one.If you do tough it be sure and clean it before installing it.

Replace 2005 GMC Sierra Daytime Running Lights...

Open the hood, and in the top right and left corners of the primary headlamps you'll see two pins (L shaped) swing them out (towards the front of the truck) and lift out. This allows you to remove the upper headlamp assembly. You can then remove the lower assembly by pushing outwards on the plastic clip that is hooked into a metal clip. Once it's out you just turn the bulb to remove it.

It's much easier if you unhook the leads to the upper assembly's bulbes so you can set the whole thing aside.
