Question about 2000 Volkswagen Golf
The oil level is fine but it keeps warning me to stop. but the engine just runs fine, this often happens when i've been driving a distance and on slowing down it starts beeping and warning me to stop.
When you say the oil level is fine, has it dropped at all in oil level even within the fine area?
Your oil sensor may faulty, or you may have a pressure leak somewhere since you said it occurs when you slow down (let your foot off the gas which will reduce the pressure). One known issue with golfs (hope it's not with yours) is that the rear engine seal often springs a leak and ends up leaking into the flywheel and transmission assembly.
